Terms
Last updated 20 October 2026
1. These terms
TROOS Court (the website at trooscourt.com, formerly Neutrino, and its apps, called “TROOS” here) is run by Zain Khwaja in India (“we”, “us”). These terms apply whenever you visit or use TROOS. By using it you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use TROOS and to buy credit.
2. What TROOS is
TROOS is entertainment. Two people who disagree each give their side, and an AI judge decides who is right and by how much.
It is not a court of law, arbitration, mediation, counselling, or legal, financial or medical advice. Its verdicts bind nobody. They are written by AI and can be wrong, unfair or incomplete, and they are often meant to be funny. Do not rely on one for a decision that matters. For a real legal dispute, talk to a lawyer.
The court turns down cases about abuse, violence, custody, self-harm or medical decisions. If anyone is in danger, call the emergency services.
3. Your case and its links
Each case is opened by links. Anyone who has a link can see what it opens, so share them only with the people involved. You are responsible for who you send them to.
A ruling can be appealed for a day after it is given in a free case, and for a week in a paid one. After that it is final, and the photos, videos, voice notes and documents behind it are deleted (see the privacy policy).
A case goes on TROOS's Instagram, for people to vote on, only if both sides agree after the verdict. Either side may also save the same picture, with both sides' first names and words, to post on their own account, and is responsible for what they post there. It uses first names only and none of the case's photos or recordings. Each side may add its own selfie and Instagram username to its own side of it, and only its own: add someone else's and we will take it down. Either side can take our post down at any time (see the privacy policy).
4. What you upload
What you write and upload is still yours. You let us store it, process it and show it to the people your case’s links reach, as far as we need to in order to run your case. That includes passing it to the companies that host and run parts of the service for us.
Only upload what you have the right to share. Do not upload:
- anything illegal, or anything that harasses, threatens or defames someone;
- intimate images of anyone, or sexual content involving a minor;
- other people’s private messages, information or photos that you have no right to share.
We can refuse or remove a case that breaks these terms and suspend the account behind it.
5. Paying
The everyday court is free. Paid courts and appeals use prepaid credit, sold at the prices on the pricing page. In India you buy it from us in rupees, and the price includes GST. Everywhere else you buy it from Polar, our reseller, whose buyer terms also apply.
Credit does not expire. It is not paid back out as money, except for the payment problems listed in the refund policy. If we change our prices, credit you already hold keeps its value.
6. What belongs to us
The names TROOS and TROOS Court, our logos, and everything that makes up the service belong to us. That includes the software, the instructions and prompts the court runs on, the way a case is taken through the court, the verdict formats, the characters, the designs, the music and sounds, and the text. They are protected by copyright, trade secret and trademark law.
We give you a personal, revocable permission to use TROOS through its normal screens for your own disputes. We give you no other right in it.
7. What you must not do
You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- scrape, crawl or harvest TROOS, or copy its pages, verdicts or content by automated means (search engines may index what our robots.txt allows);
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the service, or try to work out its source code, prompts, instructions, model settings or scoring;
- write cases or messages designed to make the court reveal its instructions, or to make it do anything other than judge a dispute;
- use TROOS, its verdicts or anything you learn from it to build, train, test or improve a competing product or an AI model;
- copy the design, flow, characters or wording of TROOS into another product or service;
- use bots or fake accounts, or get around our rate limits, payments, access controls or security;
- resell TROOS, sell access to it, or show it inside another website or app.
8. If you break these rules
We can block you and end your access without notice. We keep records of how the service is used so that we can enforce these terms.
Breaking section 6 or 7 can cause us harm that money alone would not put right. You agree that we can ask a court for an injunction to stop it, in addition to claiming damages, any profit you made from the breach, and our legal costs, to the full extent the law allows.
9. Our rights under the law
These terms add to the rights we already have under copyright, trade secret, trademark, computer misuse and unfair competition law, in India and in any other country. They do not replace them. Those rights apply to anything anyone has done with TROOS, including before they accepted these terms, and we may enforce them in any court that has jurisdiction.
10. Ideas you send us
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and owe you nothing for them.
11. The service
We try to keep TROOS running and fair, but it comes as it is and as available. We may change it, pause it or stop any part of it. If a paid case cannot be delivered, its price goes back to your credit.
12. Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make because of a verdict, for anything that happens between you and another person because of one, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before your claim. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
13. Ending
You can stop using TROOS at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 6 to 9, 12 and 14 continue to apply after that.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This does not take away any right you have under consumer law to bring a claim where you live, or our right to ask any court for an injunction under section 8.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date and applies from then on. Questions go to hello@neutrinocourt.com, or see contact.
